1. Purpose

The Macdonald Stewart Canadian Pavilion (“Canadian Pavilion”) is a welcoming and inclusive space where all individuals - whether here to work, visit, stay, or attend an event - deserve to feel safe, respected, and valued. This Code of Conduct sets the standard for how we treat one another to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

2. Respect for All

All individuals covered by this Code must:

  • Treat others with courtesy, kindness, and dignity at all times.

  • Discrimination, harassment, or bullying - whether verbal, physical, or online - will not be tolerated.

  • Be mindful that others may have different backgrounds, beliefs, or needs.

3. Inclusive and Welcoming Environment

  • Help foster an atmosphere where everyone feels included and safe.

  • Avoid loud, aggressive, or disruptive behavior.

  • Children, elderly guests, and individuals with accessibility needs shall receive extra consideration and patience.

4. Zero Tolerance for Harassment or Abuse

  • No inappropriate language, gestures, or conduct toward staff, guests, or anyone on the premises.

  • If you feel uncomfortable due to someone’s behavior, notify a staff member immediately or email us confidentially at hello@canadianpavilion.co.uk.

  • Anyone behaving in a threatening, discriminatory, or harassing manner may be asked to leave.

5. Shared Responsibility

  • We each play a role in upholding the atmosphere of the Canadian Pavilion - whether you’re a guest, staff member, or visitor.

  • Respect shared spaces and property.

  • Follow any posted guidelines or staff instructions with cooperation.

Together, let’s ensure the Canadian Pavilion remains a place of warmth, respect, and community.
