Code of Conduct

Applies To: All guests, visitors, staff, volunteers, and contractors
1. Purpose
The Macdonald Stewart Canadian Pavilion (“Canadian Pavilion”) is a welcoming and inclusive space where all individuals - whether here to work, visit, stay, or attend an event - deserve to feel safe, respected, and valued. This Code of Conduct sets the standard for how we treat one another to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
2. Respect for All
All individuals covered by this Code must:

Treat others with courtesy, kindness, and dignity at all times.

Discrimination, harassment, or bullying - whether verbal, physical, or online - will not be tolerated.

Be mindful that others may have different backgrounds, beliefs, or needs.
3. Inclusive and Welcoming Environment

Help foster an atmosphere where everyone feels included and safe.

Avoid loud, aggressive, or disruptive behavior.

Children, elderly guests, and individuals with accessibility needs shall receive extra consideration and patience.
4. Zero Tolerance for Harassment or Abuse

No inappropriate language, gestures, or conduct toward staff, guests, or anyone on the premises.

If you feel uncomfortable due to someone’s behavior, notify a staff member immediately or email us confidentially at hello@canadianpavilion.co.uk.

Anyone behaving in a threatening, discriminatory, or harassing manner may be asked to leave.
5. Shared Responsibility

We each play a role in upholding the atmosphere of the Canadian Pavilion - whether you’re a guest, staff member, or visitor.

Respect shared spaces and property.

Follow any posted guidelines or staff instructions with cooperation.
